The Archbishop Tutu IP Trust Are Hiring

*ARCHBISHOP TUTU ARCHIVING VIDEO PROJECT*

The Archbishop Tutu IP Trust seeks the part-time services of a video editor to work from the Trust’s offices in Cape Town for approximately 30 days over three months beginning in March 2024.

The editor must have experience working with raw digital material in P2 format and editing Final Cut Pro. The work will be carried out on a MacBook Pro provided by the Trust.

The editing project entails extracting speeches by the late Archbishop Tutu from raw footage, (without adding cutaways except when necessary to cover jump edits), and labelling them in preparation for upload to the Archbishop Tutu Digital Archive.

The project's purpose is not to produce finely crafted programming but to expose Archbishop Tutu’s “unedited” wisdom to new audiences.
